Installation view, works by Michael Arata & Axelle Rioult (video projection)

Interesting juxtaposition of images and architectural elements(windows) within the gallery space.  Certainly the relationship of Axelle's video projection of her family home, in this case the left image is the architect's drawing and the right(video) image is the same view but in 2004.  I tried to play on the "squareness" and unthoughtfulness of the design of the "gallery" space (I use the word gallery space lightly) to move not only the viewer's eye around and to create a certain rhythm between the artworks, but to make the whole space less static.  In the upper right window is another work by Michael Arata.
